We celebrate 2 years of the Ephesus Tee! 🎉
Two years ago I published my first paid pattern: the Ephesus Tee. I remember the nerves like it was yesterday. I didn't know if people would like the pattern, if anyone would buy it... and the first surprise was huge! Many people offered to test it. Feeling that initial support was a fundamental kick-start to start this design adventure.
I wrote it in a high level of detail, perhaps more than necessary (I've been improving my pattern writing style over time 😁), but from the beginning it had an incredible reception. Two years have passed and the Ephesus Tee has been knitted by many people, which fills me with happiness and gratitude.
It's a versatile pattern: you can knit it with short or long sleeves, with summer yarns or even merino wool for winter. Later, I wanted to expand the collection with the Ephesus Sweater , a quicker-to-knit winter version, and the Ephesus Mini , which includes sweater and cardigan versions for girls.
I want to share a story that made me very proud. At the end of last year, the brand Rosários 4 contacted me from Portugal to ask me for a photo of the yoke of the Ephesus Tee that I had knitted with their For Nature cotton. And now, they have sent me their 2025 calendar… and my design appears in September! I am very excited that knitters from all over the world will see this beautiful yoke in the calendar of such a special brand.

Knitting tips:
- If you live somewhere hot, consider using cotton blends with linen or bamboo, as they are cooler than 100% cotton.
- Although the pattern is designed for DK yarn, you can use a finer weight (such as Sport weight) to obtain a lighter garment.
