Odemira Top is a sleeveless t-shirt, summer style, light and airy. It is knit from top to bottom without seams, so the length can be adjusted to your liking if you need to. You start at the back, shaping the shoulders, and then continue knitting flat until you shape the armhole. Then the front is knit flat giving the shape of the neckline and armhole. When joining front and back, the body is knitted in a circular motion. It has a central decoration that goes down from the shoulder bordering the neckline and that joins in the center to continue to the end of the body. At the end, the neckline and sleeves are finished.

Techniques used: German Twisted Cast-on, increases with inclination to the left and right on the right and wrong side of the fabric, picking up stitches and Standard Stitch Closure. All techniques used are explained in the instructions and in videos linked from this pattern.

The pattern is available in 9 adult sizes. The shirt I'm wearing in the photo is a size 3, with 2 cm/0.75 in of looseness. For reference, I am 170 cm/5 ft 7 in tall and my bust circumference is 96 cm/38.5 in.

Recommended ease: between 0 and 7 cm/2.75 in positive ease.

Gauge Sample: 20 stitches x 30 rows (10 cm/4 in) with the main needles in stocking stitch, worked in a circular and blocked.

Suggested needle size: 4mm/US 6 main circular needle, or whatever you need to obtain the required tension. 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle (or two sizes smaller than the main needle) to knit the edges of the neck, body and sleeves.
